Lifetronics
represents major manufacturers
Lifetronics Medical Inc. is an exclusive Canadian
master distributor of innovative and cost effective medical
products/solutions. We specialize in products used in
respiratory therapy, anaesthesia, critical care, infant
care, emergency and infection control. In the past,
Lifetronics has represented major manufacturers such as
Draeger Medical. We also distribute indoor air quality
systems for health care, commercial and residential markets.
Lifetronics has been in business for the past 20 years.
Centrally and strategically located
in Toronto
Canada is a geographically large and culturally diverse
country with a relatively small population. Its size and
diversity makes it extremely difficult and costly for a
single national distributor to manage economically and
effectively.
Lifetronics’ offices, warehouse and service depot are
centrally and strategically located in Toronto, which is
Canada’s largest city. We directly and intensively cover
Toronto and our home province of Ontario with our own sales
account managers, clinical product specialists (RRTs) and
biomedical service technologists.
Training and support for regional
dealers
For effective distribution of our product lines in the rest
of the country, Lifetronics (as Canadian master distributor)
appoints qualified, established, regional distribution
partners on an exclusive basis.
We train and support these regional dealers to
successfully sell our product lines in their own
territories. This unique plan has worked extremely well for
all stakeholders i.e. our foreign suppliers, Lifetronics,
regional dealers and end customers.
Lifetronics is registered with Health
Canada
All medical products sold in Canada must comply with Health
Canada’s current regulations. Medical device licenses are
required for Class 2, 3, & 4 devices before they can be
promoted and distributed in Canada.
Please visit
Health Canada's website for complete details regarding
their medical device regulations and application process.
Suppliers/manufacturers are responsible for obtaining
medical device licenses for their products. Class 1 devices
do not require a license. The application process is similar
to FDA in the United States. Lifetronics is registered with
Health Canada and holds a current establishment license for
importing and distributing licensed medical devices in
Canada. |
